Integrity Poolscapes was founded in 2014 by John Hudek and Kalvin Kocian, who met while working together at another pool company. Sharing a commitment to quality construction, personal service, and doing business the right way, they decided to combine their experience and build a company of their own.
Today, Integrity Poolscapes remains a small, family-owned and operated business, with both John and Kalvin’s spouses involved in the company as well. That family approach is an important part of who we are. Our customers aren’t passed from one department to another instead, they work directly with the people who own and operate the company.
Kalvin Kocian, a native of El Campo, Texas, has spent his career in construction and sales since graduating from high school. He works personally with our customers through the sales and design process, helping turn their ideas into a pool and outdoor space that fits their home, lifestyle, and budget.
John Hudek brings a unique background to Integrity Poolscapes. Before entering the swimming pool industry, John was a professional baseball player with the Houston Astros and later became a business owner, operating batting cages before beginning his career in the pool industry. Today, John oversees construction and stays closely involved with our projects from the beginning of construction through completion.
More than a decade after starting Integrity Poolscapes, we have intentionally remained a hands-on company. Kalvin handles sales and design, John oversees construction, and the owners remain personally involved throughout the process. We believe that level of involvement creates better communication, greater accountability, and ultimately a better-built pool.
For us, building a swimming pool isn’t about building as many pools as possible. It’s about creating a beautiful, well-constructed space that our customers and their families will enjoy for years to come—and standing behind the work after the project is finished.
